What are cosmetic and personal care products?
A cosmetic is a product applied to the skin, hair, nails or teeth to clean, protect, scent or improve their appearance: a face cream, a shampoo, a soap or a toothpaste. It is not meant to treat or prevent disease, which is what separates it from a medicine. Personal care is the wider group that also covers bath, hair and oral hygiene products.
Progene Pharma supplies cosmetics and personal care products to brand owners, importers, distributors and online sellers outside India, mostly under their own brand. They are usually notified or registered with a cosmetics or health authority rather than the medicines regulator, and some markets, such as the EU, require a named responsible person.

Every formula comes with a full ingredient list in INCI names, checked against the banned and restricted lists of your market.

Tested before release
Every finished batch is tested for the quality limits you set, including microbes. Formulas are tested for stability and for how well the preservative works, so the shelf life holds. Each batch ships with its Certificate of Analysis.

Cartons and labels carry the INCI ingredient list, batch and expiry, warnings and storage, in the language your authority requires.
Documents for registration
Prepared in the format your regulator expects and sent before the first shipment, so you can register the product while it is being made.

What are cosmetic and personal care products?

Which products can you manufacture?

Do you manufacture cosmetics under my brand?
Yes. Progene Pharma manufactures under your brand name, with your artwork, fragrance, language and pack size, and supplies the documents to sell the product in your country.
Are cosmetics registered like medicines?
Usually not. Most countries ask for a notification or registration with a cosmetics or health authority, and some, such as the EU, also require a named responsible person and a safety assessment. Rules differ by country, so check with your authority. We supply the documents it asks for.
Which documents do you provide?
Progene Pharma provides a COA with every batch, the formula with INCI names, stability and preservative test reports, the facility's GMP certificate, a Free Sale Certificate where required, label artwork, MSDS, and samples for registration.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product, the pack and the formula. We work with new brands as well as large importers, and confirm the minimum quantity with your quotation.
Do you sell these products in India?
No. Progene Pharma supplies distributors, importers and brand owners outside India. Our products are for export only.
