What are anti-tuberculosis medicines?
Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial infection, usually of the lungs, that needs several medicines taken together for at least six months. The first-line regimen uses rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and ethambutol, often combined in one tablet so patients take fewer pills.
Progene Pharma supplies anti-tuberculosis medicines to importers, distributors, hospitals and national TB programmes outside India. They are prescription medicines, usually bought by national programmes and registered with the national regulator.

What is a fixed-dose combination?
It is one tablet that contains two or more medicines, so patients take fewer tablets each day. It helps people keep to the long course that tuberculosis treatment needs.
Do you make the four-drug first-line combination?
We make the single drugs and fixed-dose combinations. Tell us the combination, strengths and weight bands your national programme uses and we will confirm what we can supply.
Can you supply government tenders for TB medicines?
Yes. Progene Pharma supplies tender packs and the documents tenders usually ask for. Send us the tender requirements and we will confirm what we can provide.
Can you make anti-tuberculosis medicines under my brand?
Yes. Progene Pharma manufactures under your brand name, with your artwork, language and pack size, and can make any medicine in this area that is approved in your country, including new strengths and combinations.
Which documents do you provide for registration?
Progene Pharma provides a Certificate of Analysis with every batch, a COPP in the WHO format, a registration dossier in CTD or ACTD format with stability data, a copy of the facility's GMP certificate, MSDS, and samples for registration testing.
Do you sell these medicines in India?
No. Progene Pharma supplies distributors and importers outside India. Our products are for export only.
