What are antifungals and antivirals?
Antifungals treat infections caused by fungi, such as thrush, athlete's foot and ringworm. Antivirals treat infections caused by viruses, such as herpes, and antiretrovirals control HIV. Both work differently from antibiotics, which only act on bacteria.
Progene Pharma supplies these medicines to importers, distributors, hospitals and national programmes outside India. They are prescription medicines in most countries, and antiretrovirals are usually bought through national HIV programmes.

Do you make antiretroviral combinations?
Yes. We make lamivudine and zidovudine, alone and as a fixed-dose combination. Tell us the regimen and strengths your programme uses and we will confirm what we can supply.
Are antifungal creams sold without prescription?
In some countries, some creams are sold over the counter. It depends on the product and the country, so check with your authority. We supply the documents either way.
Can you supply creams as well as tablets?
Yes. We make creams and ointments in tubes and tablets and capsules in blisters, in the pack sizes your market uses.
Can you make antifungals and antivirals medicines under my brand?
Yes. Progene Pharma manufactures under your brand name, with your artwork, language and pack size, and can make any medicine in this area that is approved in your country, including new strengths and combinations.
Which documents do you provide for registration?
Progene Pharma provides a Certificate of Analysis with every batch, a COPP in the WHO format, a registration dossier in CTD or ACTD format with stability data, a copy of the facility's GMP certificate, MSDS, and samples for registration testing.
Do you sell these medicines in India?
No. Progene Pharma supplies distributors and importers outside India. Our products are for export only.
