What are hospital and anaesthesia medicines?

Hospital medicines are the injectable products used on wards and in theatres. IV fluids such as sodium chloride, dextrose and Ringer lactate replace fluid and carry other medicines into the body. Local anaesthetics such as lidocaine and bupivacaine numb part of the body for surgery and procedures, and injectable antibiotics, analgesics and anti-nausea medicines complete the hospital range.

Progene Pharma supplies them to hospitals, national medical stores, importers and tender suppliers outside India. Sterile products are made in dedicated sterile areas, and each batch is released with its Certificate of Analysis.
