What are pain, fever and anti-inflammatory medicines?

These medicines relieve pain, bring down fever and reduce inflammation, the swelling and stiffness that come with injuries, arthritis and many infections. Paracetamol relieves pain and fever. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and diclofenac also reduce inflammation.

Progene Pharma supplies them to importers, distributors, hospitals and tender suppliers outside India. Many are sold over the counter, and some, such as tramadol, are controlled medicines that need import permits in some countries.

What is the difference between paracetamol and ibuprofen?

Paracetamol relieves pain and fever. Ibuprofen does the same and also reduces inflammation, because it is an NSAID. Both are widely sold in pharmacies.

Do you supply tramadol?

Where your country permits it. Tramadol is a controlled medicine in many countries and needs an import permit and a licensed importer. Tell us your country and we will confirm what is possible.

Can you make paediatric suspensions?

Yes. We make paracetamol and ibuprofen suspensions in the strengths your guidelines use, in bottles with a measuring cup.

Can you make pain, fever and inflammation medicines under my brand?

Yes. Progene Pharma manufactures under your brand name, with your artwork, language and pack size, and can make any medicine in this area that is approved in your country, including new strengths and combinations.

Which documents do you provide for registration?

Progene Pharma provides a Certificate of Analysis with every batch, a COPP in the WHO format, a registration dossier in CTD or ACTD format with stability data, a copy of the facility's GMP certificate, MSDS, and samples for registration testing.

Do you sell these medicines in India?

No. Progene Pharma supplies distributors and importers outside India. Our products are for export only.
