What are brain and nervous system medicines?
These medicines act on the brain and nerves. Carbamazepine, sodium valproate, levetiracetam and gabapentin control epilepsy and some also treat nerve pain. Pregabalin treats nerve pain and anxiety. Amitriptyline and fluoxetine treat depression, and olanzapine treats schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Progene Pharma supplies them to importers, distributors, hospitals and tender suppliers outside India. They are prescription medicines taken for long periods, and some, such as pregabalin, are controlled in certain countries.

Do you supply controlled medicines?
Where your country permits it. Some of these medicines, such as pregabalin, are controlled and need an import permit and a licensed importer. Tell us your country and we will confirm what is possible.
Are anti-epileptic medicines taken for life?
Often for many years. That is why consistent quality matters: switching brands can affect control for some patients. We keep each product to a steady specification from batch to batch.
Do you make syrups for children?
Yes. We make sodium valproate syrup and can make other liquid forms to order.
Can you make brain and nervous system medicines under my brand?
Yes. Progene Pharma manufactures under your brand name, with your artwork, language and pack size, and can make any medicine in this area that is approved in your country, including new strengths and combinations.
Which documents do you provide for registration?
Progene Pharma provides a Certificate of Analysis with every batch, a COPP in the WHO format, a registration dossier in CTD or ACTD format with stability data, a copy of the facility's GMP certificate, MSDS, and samples for registration testing.
Do you sell these medicines in India?
No. Progene Pharma supplies distributors and importers outside India. Our products are for export only.
