What are stomach and digestion medicines?

These medicines treat problems of the stomach and gut. Proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole, esomeprazole, pantoprazole and rabeprazole reduce stomach acid. Domperidone and ondansetron relieve nausea and vomiting. Antacids neutralise acid, and oral rehydration salts replace the fluid and salts lost in diarrhoea.

Progene Pharma supplies them to importers, distributors, hospitals and public health programmes outside India. Many are sold in pharmacies, and oral rehydration salts with zinc are bought in bulk by child health programmes.

What are proton pump inhibitors?

They are medicines that reduce the acid the stomach makes, used for reflux, heartburn and ulcers. Omeprazole, esomeprazole, pantoprazole and rabeprazole are the most common.

Do you make oral rehydration salts?

Yes. We make oral rehydration salts in the WHO formula, in sachets, and zinc dispersible tablets that are given together with them to children with diarrhoea.

Can you supply the pellets used in omeprazole capsules?

Yes. We also make omeprazole and esomeprazole enteric-coated pellets for manufacturers who fill their own capsules, in our DC granules and pellets range.

Can you make stomach and digestion medicines under my brand?

Yes. Progene Pharma manufactures under your brand name, with your artwork, language and pack size, and can make any medicine in this area that is approved in your country, including new strengths and combinations.

Which documents do you provide for registration?

Progene Pharma provides a Certificate of Analysis with every batch, a COPP in the WHO format, a registration dossier in CTD or ACTD format with stability data, a copy of the facility's GMP certificate, MSDS, and samples for registration testing.

Do you sell these medicines in India?

No. Progene Pharma supplies distributors and importers outside India. Our products are for export only.
